I'm curious do you guys prefer 1st person POV or 3rd person POV? Or does it just depend on the story/characters?

Whatever serves the story best. Personally, I don't understand how some readers dislike one and like the other.
Whatever fits the story - or characters - best.I will never understand this hate against any POV - or tense - that some people dish out. Some POVs or tenses work better for certain types of stories or even writing styles. That it's chosen considerate and kept consistent is all that matters to me.
I don’t even notice/pay attention to whatever POV it’s in….whatever works for the story
I really don't care as long as the writing is good! I think I even prefer 3rd person most of the time
I just really don't care 🤷🏻♀️ if it is well written, i forget that it is in third person
i think i like the 1st a little better, but i’m fine with both
