Wish I read this at school. Really weird learning about the 10 stages of a holocaust from such a personal account because you realise how similar it is to the present day (Palestine, scapegoating, ICE going door to door demanding to see papers etc).

I love that she wrote “Paper has more patience than people”. She’s so right. I want I diary now. More people should read this. We need more empathy
