Jeez, I know it is natural and human but Jay being so sweet to Izzy trying to win her over pisses me off. I will be officially pissed off by the author if she doesn’t let Izzy experience Dr. Saito romance. I am not sure why I feeling strong emotions over Jay, it’s so natural to do and I experienced such behavior from a man first hand. So maybe that’s why. Where do I WANT this to go??

Ok, these were some tight pages. Rid of Jay. Phew. Some clue about the powers issue. Okay (not amazing but passable). Excellent scene with Karl. Still no real clue about murder and I don’t think there’s enough information for that and the characters cast is still not THAT strong.

Oh yeah and something else I want to say. I like her sensing, the little paranormal/supernatural element to mystery but I want that to be logical too. RN I would like to know that there is a logical reason for her senses to come and go. The author has a lot to wrap up in the 40% of the book, better do it well

Right now I am sus about the very person that is supposed to be murdered a) because it is such a famous trope and b) because the other cast of suspects is not strong enough. I love the premise of organizing business of two very different sisters but we need stronger characters in here. I also do love the family situation and budding romance
