Absolutely LOVING this story. I love how Lucinda takes the reader into the past but writes so well that it is essentially the present. I actually completely forgot that this story was the story that Ally had started reading in an attempt to understand where she came from.

I actually prefer Ally’s narration to Maias - maybe because it’s book 2 but the transitioning between scenes etc is smoother. Also … why do I feel like something is going to happen to Theo?😭😭
