Talking about pastoral care for sadness during singleness

Chapter 2:

Oooooooof. She is so good at staring straight into the brokenness of our world and culture and naming it. I feel exposed and deeply saddened. I feel my need and desperation for something better. My need for a savior.

I love the professional and personal mix. She cites social science research and also says words like “wowzesr” 😂

Oof. I can already tell this is going to be transformational. I need to take a second and think about some of this already. It is gonna be good for advent too - a time of asking hard questions
