This book took a bit to catch me. But once we got into Lottie’s story and everything after, this book took off into a five star read. Fantastic horror writing. I really really enjoyed this.

The prose of that first chapter was draining. I enjoyed what I was reading but the long paragraphs and structuring of the writing is not MY cup of tea. This one may take longer to finish than expected.
