as changez moves on in the book we see how he has a new girlfriend named erica. i think she is really important to changez during the book we hear her name a lot. but as we discussed in class i think that erica is quite crazy and is not the right person for changez.

as i was reading through the book. And we were discussing in class i found really curious the relationship between Changez, Erica and Chris. In the book we see how Erica cant stop talking about chris and that relationship might mean the relationship between religion, america, and how their changing. I just don't know very well.

one of the most important scenes to me was when changez got to underwood samsung on his recruitment day. I feel like that U.S really represented in an indirect way the way he is getting to go to USA. This really emphasizes the start of a new era in his life.
