I like that Estie is messy but I wish her thoughts didn't sound so immature. She's older than me, and I feel more mature than this. It's like... I just want her thoughts to match the situation, and she sounds like a teenager that accidentally got pregnant. I guess, in a way, it helps with how helpless this all feels for her.
