chapters 1-4 really good !
chapter 5 okay
chapters 6 & 7 pretty bad
chapter 8 is up there as one of the worst short stories i’ve ever read. hyper-absurdist and tonally so far removed from any of the other chapters. feels like it was written by totally different author for totally different book. took me 3 days to slog thru. how it got past an editor is Very Interesting lol
