Some janky pacing, the central Titan attack feels bloated at a certain point and the flashbacks of Mikasa’s tragic backstory are oddly placed, yet this is pretty riveting with how it illustrates its bigger-scale action and there’s narratively enough to leave me wanting the next volume ASAP.
