That’s a wrap for “So Long and Thanks for all the fish”. Which feels more like an encore than actually part of the trilogy, even though it does end up rounding up some unfinished bits from the main trilogy. Though more pointless and random than the main trilogy is just as much fun of a read, and if anything a more cohesive story since it has a smaller scope and cast.

“Life, The Universe and Everything”
While the cleverness and charm is still there, the third novel feels a bit more disjointed, having characters scattered, and jumping back and forth between random distractions. Most of the jokes and wacky surprises still land, though the “conclusion” feels a bit random but not in a good way.
