8.28am i was thinking of dnfing just before the callan scene but i like the complexity of her feeling for him and whatevers going on between her and sorin i was relectunt to like it because im so used to fmcs having only one main romance but again im still not sure about this book still might dnf

8.33pm i am really struggling with reading this i want to dnf so bad i cannot for the life of me put m finger on why im not a fan because its a mix of so many things like the writing the pacing the dialouge the cringey arse terms (deaths shadow shut the fuck up) the romance all of it but also something else but i dont know what i wish i liked it i had such high hopes

8.56pm im finding this hard to get through people are saying this books is kind of shit but then it really really picks itself back up in the second book but im trying to figure out if that's the issue or it's the writing that's the problem and the romance developed wayyyyyyyy too quick
