Been a while since Ive updated, but I have been reading this nonetheless! The tower of the elephant was a classic robbery where Conan met a master thief, who is slain by a magic door. He then helps an extraterrestrial elephant being escape from the mortal coil and utterly destroy a wicked wizard at the same time. The Scarlet Citadel was very awesome. A terrible maze, horrid beasts, and dozens of pages of bloody war.

Second and third stories finished. Love the decision not to put these in the universal chronological order, but rather release order. Really makes it feel like you’re sitting around a campfire with Conan, and he’s telling you these tales as he remembers them. Loved the murder mystery with young Conan!

Finished the first story! I’ll plan on reading one every few days or so. Love seeing the bits of Conan that made their way into other stories and heroes, excited to read more!
