I commend Auster for attempting to write this epic story of a life and the endless outcomes that different decisions may lead to, I’m sure it took a lot of work. However, it does get dull pretty often, too much unnecessary information, I feel like the story would suffer no blow if 200 pages were to be removed. This book is no Stoner, but I loved the idea behind it which makes for an interesting reading experience.
