Man I love baseball. One thing Ken Burns talks about in his baseball doc is how the history of baseball mirrors the history of America — immigration patterns, civil rights, labor practices. This book contains many of the great ballplayers and (sometimes) great men who in one way or another advanced the game and the country. Good stuff
