My best friend LOVES 'Critical Role', so he wanted to buddy-read this so badly! And whereas the writing is BEAUTIFUL, probably one of the most talented I've ever read, the story really has its up or downs. I really love grumpy/sunshine, but I hate if the sunshine's naiivety is the comic relief all the time. Feels kind of insulting.
I wish this book would've had 100 more pages so things could've developed more slowly.
