In Twilight Bella was awkward and so normal it came off as pick me, but in Edward’s pov I saw myself in her and really liked her lol. I really liked this book even tho I was hoping for an extension of the original series. It was nice to go back and read observations Edward made in the beginning knowing how it all ends. #teamedward 🧛🏼❤️

So it is the exact same plot as the first book :/

Halfway through and even tho I really like reading Edward’s perspective, I j realized this book has no longtime conflict other than Edward constantly pushing Bella away… Is this going to lead to the same conflict and resolution as the first book? I was kinda hoping it would be a little different or started at the beginning, fast forwarded through parts and then gave us more from the time Breaking Dawn left off :(

In reading order I have already read: Twilight, Eclipse, The Short Second Short Life of Bree Tanner, and Breaking Dawn, so I’m excited to read another edition to the series bc I enjoy being in this world. I do hope it’s better than The Short Second Short Life of Bree Tanner, j bc that one felt unnecessary and drawn out even tho it was really short. I’ve heard good things about this one tho, so we’ll see!
