Why would anyone be so clueless as to eat wild berries they found in the woods. Claire was smart enough to want to ask someone else in the group but of course the didn't end up doing it. Also I am like 90% sure that even if you have no signal on your phone at all you can still dial 911. Not sure why nobody has tried that yet.

So the van just broke down and the one question I have is why would a group of people who so clearly hate each other go on a trip to the wilderness together. I feel like a constant theme in Freidas books is that everyone is literally stupid.

Fridas books always have a plot twist and I love two perspective books. So far the husband seems like an ass and Clair is clearly unhappy. I dont understand the concept of her saying she wants to stay together for the children and then saying that hopefully they wont be together by the following year.
