i think it’s funny that my main complaint w this rn is the amount of context we’re getting when literally last week my main complaint of a different book was it not having enough context

this is taking me a lot longer than i expected and honestly it’s bc we keep entering the povs of other characters and like,,, can we be in jean-baptiste’s head now?? this is his story isn’t it?
