Really enjoying this book. Even though it doesn’t seem to super scripture filled (in terms of direct references for what he says) I think it could be a really good evangelistic book for people who hold Christian-ish views but don’t think they need God to explain them and push them to properly consider Jesus as Lord

Really interesting chapters on how Christianity radically changed relationships & the culture around sex. A takeaway line applicable across many topics is around how can people claim something as ‘unjust’/‘wrong’ without knowing what is ‘just’/‘right’. As Scrivener says, you know the crooked path by the straight (or something like that)

Audiobook for drive back to Cbr. I think this will be helpful for me to learn how to articulate what I’ve always felt/ thought - that a lot of the ‘values’ our Western democratic society & non-Christian friends hold are actually solely Biblical views and without the Christian God they do not stand to reason.
