Honestly it’s boring and plotless which is disappointing bc it actually has a good amount of hockey in it. I always want that in a hockey mm romance but they’re always lacking in that sense but ofc the one time it’s prevalent in the story it’s just not a great story otherwise

2.5 stars. Not my fav but not necessarily horrendous. Just boring af with a not well done plot that could’ve been great. And lots of plot holes in terms of addressing shit like the whole conflict with that one girl at the beginning, and kellan’s step dad, and their relationship’s publicity in terms of the NHL. And when kellan found out wells was someone he bullied in hs, it was all resolved within like 2 pages

Eh, it’s okay. Not horrendous but not great. Wells kinda pisses me off tho in the sense that he’s one of those guys who was small and bullied in hs only to turn around and have some huge glow up so now he’s like desperate for power over his bullies years later and can’t move on and constantly wants to prove they’re not their old selves. I dont know if that made sense but yeah
