okay the story makes sense now - i believe this is loosely based on Ditlevsen’s life and wow what a whirlwind. I think both Vilhelm and Lise are flawed in their own twisted ways tbh; i love Lise’s pettiness though 😛

I hate to admit this but I’m not the biggest fan of how this novel was written - I feel like it’s so difficult to follow and I’m jumping from different perspectives / narratives - only finishing this because I love Ditlevsen but I think this is so far a 3.5/5⭐️ rating from me
