Who Has Seen the Wind?
Who has seen the wind?
Neither I nor you:
But when the leaves hang trembling,
The wind is passing through.
Who has seen the wind?
Neither you nor I:
But when the trees bow down their heads,
The wind is passing by

Icy Morning Haiku:
On a frozen pond
a small dog is nervously
attempting to skate
Way up in the tree
a black cat grins with delight
watching and waiting
Beneath the clear ice
a big fish wonders if all
dogs walk on water

She'll
The sea fills my ear
With sand and with fear.
You may wash out the sand
But never the sound
Of the ghost of the sea
That is haunting me.

Diamond Poem
Snow —
Soft flakes
Dust the street,
Painting pavements
A brilliant white sheet.
In the lamp's light,
Glittering
Crystals
Gleam.

Little January
Tapped at my door today.
And said, “Put on your winter wraps,
And come outdoors to play.”
Little January
Is always full of fun;
Today we coasted down the hill,
Until the set of the sun.
Little January
Will stay a month with me
And we will have such jolly times—
Just come along and see.

I was given this book for Christmas a few years ago and never knew how I would approach it. This year I decided I'll be reading this from January 1st till December 31st
