Theo's emotional journey (every since his mom died) reflected a bit of my own during the time I started reading The Goldfinch, and in a way I could feel the heaviness of Theo's grief.
At around 200 pages in, I put down the book, and would only read 2-3 pages every now and then. (I had a huge reading slump last year)
After a few months, I came back to reading it and It's like revisiting an old friend.
