Sarah and I read this play to each other in the Cafe du Monde off Jackson Square. It might have been the powdered sugar, or the fact i couldn’t take my mind or eyes off Sarah, but I was very distracted at that time. This production (~ listening to the play off stage) is deeply moving. The accents are a mess, but the story is so powerful that all the tension, discovery, rage, tears come thru in spades.
