I listened to the audiobook, narrated by David Keenan. Firstly, impossible to decipher the 26 separate narratives when read this way so it was a confusing first half.

Guttural, visceral and grotesquely oversexualised. Kind of like talking to that teenage boy at the house party who is desperate to prove your music taste isn’t as good as his, and he absolutely HAS seen a naked girl before.
