The idea that the law codes are mostly propaganda is so interesting. It reminds me of how Satan's Guide to the Bible mentioned most of the war and genocide in the Bible probably never happened and was propaganda and myth making. It really would be wild if this stuff was rarely if ever actually enforced. Dang. I just have a lot to think about.
