- Sam could have been such an unimportant part of this book but it became such a fundamental part of the books
- I deeply believe he was Aelin human’s mate, while Rowan is her Fae mate
- I also believe he was Arobynn son and without knowing it, he made Sam a favour by laying him to rest near the water
