Okay, this premise has always sounded like it's trying to be Evelyn Hugo to me. And I'm kind of going "but isn't a simple rom-com enough?" Like Book Lovers, for example, by Emily Henry--simple rom-com about people brought together by love of writing. Not trying to be anything more.
