Struggling to get into this. I just now am realizing who the characters from all the POVs are (I think) and still am a bit unsure why I care about several of them. Just a lot of backstory on each person that I feel could’ve been condensed. Will keep trudging for now… hoping this turns around and there’s a lightbulb where I see why I care

DNF @41%. I’m just NOW getting into the actual mystery of the book and I feel like I’ve given it plenty of time to intrigue me and I don’t want to give it more 🤷🏻♀️ wayyyyy too much time was spent talking about Avery and her episodes of American Events and arguing her salary and I don’t see how that matters at all to the actual case being presented. Maybe it does, but I’ll never know.
