I’m going to suspend my reading of this, though I expect I’ll return to it at some point. Maybe it’s me and maybe it’s Isaacson—or maybe a little of each—but this doesn’t feel like much fun.

I keep shaking my head over little things. I’m pretty certainly not part of the target audience for this book.

So far, I have two complementary but opposing views of this. One is that there’s essentially nothing new here; the other is that the differences in emphasis and detail make this worth reading.
