I was travelling through SE Asia and stumbled across this book in an excellent bookshop in Vientiane, Laos. I was sorely tempted to buy it then, but my backpack was full, so it remained on the shelf. Back home in Aus, I eventually tracked it down, but I never got round to reading it and I bought it with me to the UK. It seems fitting - a travel book discovered in Asia, purchased in Australia and read in the UK.
