Case, Molly and The Finn were back in the tunnel of refuse. they firgured the message "Wintermute" is actually the recognition code for an AI. Molly hired the Moderns to find out who's running Armitage. And it was Wintermute. Case thought AI weren't allowed any autonomy, so it would probably be the parent corporation.

Everything went well except the chatoic scene the moderns made. Armitage wasn't happy about it but he paid the leader anyway, and the chapter ended with Case received a message from Wintermute on the street.

Molly entered the research library. Before rows of identical grey lockers, She located the one that stored Dixie Flatline's construct, with the help of Case. The locker was opened through the Martix. Molly took the black storage unit from the rack and went back to the lobby. It was as hectic as it could get, it was filled with bodies, blood, sweat and fear.
