Part 4 (The healing): The book comes to a nice conclusion. However just as with the last chapter I feel the author repeats herself a lot and some poems almost feel like copy’s of each other.

Part 3 (The breaking): I feel the book slows down a bit here. A lot of the poems feel very similar to one another which sadly makes it a bit repetitive. Excited to see how the book wraps up.

Part 1 (The hurting): Filled with a lot of lines that make my head wander (in the best way). It’s strange how you can convey so much trauma in so few words. Even though I can’t relate to some of the poems I cling on to the feelings that I’ve very much felt myself.
