Things I’ve learned (and I’ve never considered myself ‘uninformed’)—
• “wandering wombs” and “suffocated uteruses”
• the history of gynecological care and its connection to enslaved Black women
• alllll the hormones in our bodies
• just how many women suffer from fibroids (!!!!)
..on top of the validation for so much of my fury.
And I’m only on p. 83 !!!
