This is my first fantasy book in a couple years so take my opinion for what’s its worth 😆. I actually enjoyed this book more than I thought I would. It has good world-building, excellent action sequences and the villain is really well crafted. The dialogue is pretty cheesy at times but I thought the two main characters have some darkness in them which makes them (I think) more compelling and relatable.I’ve seen Brandon Sanderson all over BookTok and this book is widely considered to be the entry point to the rest of his novels.
4/5 - Would recommend!
