15% of the way in and I’m still feeling lost and disconnected from the main character. Buttt I have faith even though I’ve heard many mixed reviews. Did you guys enjoy this story??

I did! But I enjoy dense fantasies with lots of worldbuilding which is the one of the aspects I've seen bothered people particularly in the beginning of this. I think the story is amazing though and the romance, I was really captivated by it but I connected to Raeve early on so maybe there's just something about her that's lacking for you :(
