So the hearts shell is useless then? Why did we even introduce it to the story in the final book just to make it useless??

Lata has been made useless in this book. She already had a small role but now she’s never allowed to finish a sentence and she gets ignored constantly. Why have an advisor if you don’t listen to them?

This ruby seems convenient and something that probably should have been foreshadowed long before we got to book 3
