However, I can hear the slightest quiver in her voice. Anger radiates off her in waves as she tamps down the old emotions. Her blood pressure has skyrocketed, yet her face remains impassive. She shows zero emotion or weakness as she explains. I’m witnessing the woman she trained herself to become. The mask of indifference she shows the world. I wonder what the woman underneath is like.
