• Jones works there under threat from police and Lana
• Lana’s operation is shady and putting everyone at risk
• Ignatius flows through this world with Jones but is completely misunderstanding it
• Office Mancuso - Desperate to catch someone
• Intellectual absurdity meets real danger

Chapter 7

• Ignatius runs the Hot Dog Vendor
• Immediately eats the stock instead of selling
• Ignatius scolds customers instead of serving them
• Forms an uneasy alliance with Jones
• Jones watches the madness with dry amusement
• The Police are looming constantly
• Ignatius turns simple labour into performance art level chaos

• His grand plans at Levy Pants spiral out of control
• His memos and schemes confuse the office
• Tries to organise the workers into movement with no understanding
• The factory descends into near revolt - he believes he’s a genius

• We learn more about Mr and Mrs Levy and their dyanmic

• He settles in at Levy Pants - Hating Everyone
• Invents new filling system - creating more chaos
• Instead of work - Writes pompous letters and memos full of fake authority
• Coworkers grow alarmed and irritated
• Management sense something wrong but can’t stop him
• The Job becomes a farce

• Ignatius begins his employment search
• Levy Pants - New Job, already judging everyone
• Boss Mr Levy, Miss Trixie & Gonzales find him baffling
• Refuses to work properly - instead plots reforms to better the company
• His arrogance turns a simple job into chaos

• Spends his days writing angry pseudo-philosophical notes in his journal

• Officer returns after D.H Holmes incident - Reilly’s must pay
• Ignatius does not want to work
• Toxic but oddly dependant maternal relationship
