Sabin Chhetri Nepali version by Historion Baburam Acharya, is appealing and intriguing like a novel. Please let me know how is this English version?

Pransu Khakurel Haven't read the nepali version, but the English version is off at times. But the book did make me wonder if the history was actually glorious or gory-ous.

Sabin Chhetri Oh, I see.

Baburam Acharya is regarded as the “Itihas Shiromani” of Nepal, so that depth and nuance are difficult to fully capture in translation.

You will find bloodshed in the history of every country around the world. People in those times thought very differently, and given the limited, or complete lack of technological development, we cannot judge them from the standpoint of the present. Even today, power-hungry individuals continue to shed blood in different ways to seize authority. In fact, in many respects, we may be more doomed than the people of the past.

Someday, when you get time, I would suggest you to read original Nepali version "अब यस्तो कहिले नहोस्"
