Whoa... where did the humor come from? Allon - becoming more comfortable with himself, caring less what other think, expressing his fatalistic humor more readily - this part is in character, I think. The jokes about controlling wives and old men coming from the storyline - this is a change. It’s sudden, as if Silva got a new editor. It’s a good change, as long as the stories remain developed and complex.
