i want to study pianists’ love of beethoven because genuinely what am i missing. i know i’ve mentioned it before but no one loves beethoven as much as a pianist does and i need to know what the big deal is. like obviously i get it bc i spent so much money on my music history degree but i want to Get it.

i wish i could love beethoven the way pianists love beethoven. if you ask a pianist about beethoven and they’ll quite literally talk until their lungs give out. thank god us mozartians are normal about our guy (lying).
