Sheryl Lee Ralph said that she thought Percy Jackson was black and now that I’m almost done with the first book, he most definitely is blacK. He’s a kid from NYC, misdiagnosed with dyslexia, and is constantly getting kicked out of school. Plus his father, who he thought was dead, is a god who won’t seek him out. PERCY IS A BLACK CHILDDDDD
