I have to say I'm disappointed. This book keeps adding plot twist after plot twist and not explaining how they're surprising. No foreshadowing or explanation at all as to how the events affect the plot, but instead the characters act like it's some horrifying thing and we're left wondering, "In this world, what does that mean?" Yet Marissa Meyer is so absorbed in this world-building that she hasn't filled us in.
