Got a bit heavy-handed there towards the end, but the actual ending covers that up fine. Pretty well-done, there. Let the people as a whole have a voice instead of just having a very small bunch of "heroes" solve - or cause - every problem for them.

It's just so easy to scare some folks. But I liked the hippo and the hare.

I've always been partial to this sort of weird scifi/fantasy settings, and the art style's carrying it fine. The story seems worth it as well. This should be good.
