You’ll have to let me know what you think - I struggled to get into it, but that’s the case for a lot of books for me. I think it’s because I typically finish one and pick up another either that same day or the next and it’s sometimes hard to let go of the characters from the last book, especially when I’m changing up the genres so much. Anyway, ultimately I liked this one a lot and really enjoy this writer.

This has been on my TBR for years! I didn’t realize it’s the same author as Frozen River and I really enjoyed that one. Historical fiction is my favorite genre but I had to take a break for a while because it gets heavy, especially those taking place during WW2. So far I’m enjoying it and liking the main character.
