Wow. Just wow. This book was and still is a rollercoaster of emotions. Anger, sadness, anxiousness, and sorrow was what I experienced reading these pages, and I have a deep sense of gratitude and sympathy for what these women experienced during this era. This book definitely has me kept on my toes after every chapter

LOVE this book so far! The first couple of chapters gave insight on the societal pressures women faced in 1460s China. I personally would not last an hour during that time as a woman, so much appreciation for the women back then who endured so much to be considered as a good wife, mother, and woman.
