i thoroughly enjoy how the story‘s framed with the help of pop cultural references of the respective time. and how fab talks about the paris he grew up in. he mentioned le jardin de tuileries, where he took dance classes. the first time i was in paris in 2018 i was determined to visit the area (for other reasons). i can’t describe how it feels to actually have knowledge about so many references - rare feeling.
