okay so riddle me this, why if elizabeth didn’t do it (in earlier chapter we found out pak did it) is she not more motivated to appear innocent? like yeah henry was a burden and she admitted to physically/mentally harming him but wouldn’t that mean she wants to have a new life w/o him?
